Bio
Tania is a program coordinator for the Sociology department. Her role includes tracking academic progress, managing the admissions process, and providing faculty and students with administrative support. Tania holds a B.A. from NYU, an M.A. in English Literature from the University of Puerto Rico-Rio Piedras, and an M.F.A. in Creative Nonfiction from Sarah Lawrence College. Aside from her work in higher education, Tania is a practicing and published essayist. A finalist for the DisQuiet Prize, she was also chosen for AmpLit Fest’s Emerging Writer Showcase. Her personal and book review essays have appeared in The Rumpus, Catapult and Medium, among other literary magazines.
