Yini He is an MA student in Columbia’s Sociology department. She earned her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Sun Yat-sen University. Her undergraduate research focused on body and feminine in China, studying body shaping and fitness strategies for female fitness enthusiasts. Her master‘s thesis explores the propaganda strategies of the Covid-19 policy in China.
