Yongcheng Lu is an MA Student in the Department of Sociology. Before attending Columbia University, Yongcheng obtained her bachelor's degree in sociology from Fudan University, China. She is interested in Science and Technology Studies, Sociology of Health and Medicine, and Culture Sociology. Her current research examines the social impact of self-tracking technology, especially how users coordinate between different disciplines‘ interpretations of their health problems and adjust their body perceptions and health practices.
