Bio
Zaid is from Plainfield, New Jersey and attended undergrad in Union, New Jersey at Kean University where he stayed after his senior to work within the Sociology Department as an academic specialist. During his senior year in Undergrad Zaid’s research topics focused in various issues involving communities of color such as racism, colorism, inequality and stratification. While working at Kean University Zaid was also employed as a certified Behavioral Assistant Therapist at a local mental health clinic. Zaid’s current research interest included public health and inequality.
