I received a Bachelors of Arts in Anthropology and in Ethnicity, Race, & Migration at Yale University, with a special interest in the sociology and history of race and sexuality in Latin America and among Latin American migrants in the United States. I am currently researching presentation of gender and sexuality among individuals applying for political asylum in the United States on the basis of LGBT identity.
