Bio
Eva Chen is a PhD student and Paul F. Lazarsfeld Fellow in the Department of Sociology. Her research interests include political sociology, racial and ethnic identity, culture formation, and immigration, with a particular focus on the Asian diaspora. In the past, she has conducted research on Asian American cultural integration and political opinion, as well as representation of racial minority interests in the US legislative process. She graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2020 with a BA in political science and global studies.
