Bio
Anna Dowling is a recent graduate of the Accelerated MA Program in Sociology at Columbia University and is from Fort Worth, Texas. Her previous research focus and current career interests include gender justice and representation, as well as inequality in visual media, sports, and education. Her MA thesis consisted of a qualitative content analysis of television and its subsequently published reviews. Prior to earning her MA at Columbia, she received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Texas Christian University with Summa Cum Laude honors. She is currently located in the DFW area.
