Seymour Spilerman

Research Interests

Seymour Spilerman received his Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins University in sociology and operations research. He has held visiting appointments at the Hebrew University, Tel Aviv University, and the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin. His recent research has covered the themes of household wealth, intergenerational financial linkages, riots and terrorism. He is also engaged in studies of the marketing of conceptual artworks and of birth order effects in romantic relationships.
