Research Interests

Biographical Note

Bo Kim (she/her) is an MA student in Sociology at Columbia University. She’s interested in how technology mediates and transforms collaboration, communication, and knowledge production in health organizations. In particular, she’s interested in three groups: 1) healthcare workers, 2) health consumers, and 3) practitioners who build and implement digital solutions. She has also been working as a User Experience Designer for six years, specializing in consumer and enterprise products in digital health. She received a Bachelor’s in Humanities and Arts at Carnegie Mellon University with an interdisciplinary major in Ethics, History, and Public Policy (EHPP) and Art, and an additional major in Human-Computer Interaction.
